Last year, we crowned Annabelle as the official taste tester for Planet Doughnut (best job ever).
Each month she gets a box of delicious doughnuts delivered to her door, and in return sprinkles us with feedback -both good and bad! - to help us improve our recipes.
This time she took our Mix & Match box for a whirl. Annabelle chose six doughnuts that caught her eye and created her dream box. Keep reading to find out what she had to say...
Love the crunch on this one! The caramel centre was so decadent and there was just enough to enjoy caramel sauce in every bite. The perfect amount of caramel!
Still my favourite doughnut! The milk chocolate glaze goes so well with the Nutella. I can’t fault this one, the only thing I would add is an extra drizzle of Nutella on top, but that’s only because I love chocolate!
Lovely hazelnut cream flavour in the middle, and the white chocolate is the perfect combination. The doughnut definitely tastes like a kinder bar!
Nice light chocolate flavour, and the centre has a subtle chocolate flavour. Although if there wasn’t a Wispa chocolate chunk on top, you wouldn’t guess that it was inspired by a Wispa. My brother tried this one and loved it!
The sprinkles on this one give the doughnut a nice crunch, and the caramel/ chocolate definitely reminded me of a Rolo. Visually, it looks very exciting as well and super appealing.
Very decadent and another one of my favourites! The caramel cream is so light with a delicious caramel flavour, and it pairs so well with the white chocolate coating. The brownie on top is an extra delicious treat!
