Get your doughnuts ready drivers, as we join BMW/Mini for their SMMT test day. On the 15th May we were pleased to
join the automobile world with 4 bespoke doughnuts inspired by the car world.
You can definitely say these doughnuts passed the test!
Our doughnuts took to the racecourse, as we partnered with BMW/Mini for their SMMT test day and supplied them with four bespoke doughnuts inspired by their cars.
The designs for these doughnut creations all stem from a mood board, we gather as much inspiration as possible from the brand and what the brand is about to showcase this throughout the doughnuts. We created a doughnut inspired by the famous union jack shown on the mini cooper to show the British history of the car brand. For this doughnut we used a round vanilla custard filled doughnut, dipped in a black, white chocolate with the union jack being created via thin white chocolate lines. Another one which we made inspired by BMW/Mini is the speedometer on a car, and we designed this we chose a round doughnut shame filled with a gooey jam centre, then dipped in white chocolate and using red and black icing for the design.
