Get your golf clubs to the ready as we partner with Mike Tindall for his annual charity golf event, with a special doughnut giveaway surprise!

As the sun was shining, it was perfect weather to kick off Mike Tindall's 5th annual charity golf event at the Belfry hotel and resort, in support of his two chosen charities Cure Parkinson's and The Matt Hampson Foundation.
Planet Doughnut had 2 holes over the 2 courses, supplying all those playing with our best sellers, Baby Got Biscuit and Take Me Home, Caramel Road, to keep energy high throughout the day.
In partnership with Mike’s event, we held a pitch the doughnut competition - a brilliant way to combine doughnuts and golf! Planet Doughnut created golf ball sized doughnuts for the game to give the most realistic feel for the golfers. The lucky winner who managed to putt the doughnut into the inflatable doughnut hole would win a year supply of doughnuts! A tempting offer you could simply not refuse.
A few notable names who tasted our doughnuts throughout the day and played our 'Putt the Doughnut' competition were:
- Harry Potter actor Oliver Phelps
- Former Professional Footballer Jamie
Redknapp - Strictly legend Anton Du Beke
- Television Presenter Dan Walker
- Olympic Swimmer Mark Foster
- ...and not forgetting Mike Tindall himself.

Mike continues to show his support for the Mark Hampson charity, in support of his friend who suffered life changing injuries during an under 21s rugby training session. Since then, his everyday life changed. Mark is now paralyzed from the neck down and breathing via a ventilator. Matt Hampson founded the charity in 2011 to help reach out to others who have also suffered catastrophic injuries from sport and help give them support to rebuild their lives.
Furthermore, Mike continues to help raise money for Cure Parkinson’s, a charity that is held very close to his heart. Since Mike’s father being diagnosed with Parkinson’s 24 years ago, Mike has shown his continuous support by helping raise money to fund the research to find a cure for Parkinson’s. Cure Parkinson’s was established in 2005 by a group of four people living with Parkinson’s as their frustrations grew due to the lack of research. Since then, their key focus is to find a cure for Parkinson’s and slow the progression of the disease for the future.
